Congratulations to the 29 Imagine Broward 7th grade students who were inducted into the Imagine Broward Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) on Thursday, May 19th!  We are so proud of each of these students who went through a rigorous selection process based on their academic merit, community service activities and overall character.

Our sincerest thanks to the following people who made this evening possible:
  • Jean Rao and Debra Darling for organizing this beautiful evening
  • Dan Daley, the Coral Springs Vice Mayor, for his inspirational address to the students
  • Arielle Yunker and the chorus for their beautiful vocal performance

Arrival & Dismissal Information

Please be aware that the city has specific traffic patterns on Westview.   You may NOT make a U-turn at the first left east of the school (NW 88th Way).  You need to go down to the next street (NW 86th Ave) before you can turn around.  According to the city, this will stop danger to all cars caused by the parents who were blocking off both lanes when they insisted on cutting into the lines.  There have already been several drivers pulled over and issued traffic citations.   You can avoid this by making sure you are adhering to these clearly posted traffic signs.

The front doors open at 8:10 a.m.  (Please do not drop your child off before 8:10, as there is no supervision before that time).  Elementary students must be in their classrooms and ready to begin the school day by 8:30.  Middle school students must be in their classrooms and ready to begin the school day by 9:15.  Students who arrive after these start times will need to be signed in at the Front Office by a parent or guardian and will be marked as tardy.

Car Lines:
Afternoon car lines can get very long the first day.  Be patient, stay in your car, and have your car sign clearly displayed.  For safety reasons, students will not be released to parents that walk up to car line. Parents must be in their cars and comply with car line, in order to pick up their students. This applies to all car lines. There will be no exceptions **If you are a parent that walks from home to pick up your student, please contact the front office for instructions on where to pickup your student.  Please have your car sign with you if you walk.  Our staff has been instructed not to release any students to any adults without the appropriate sign.  Lines will move quicker when everyone complies with these instructions.
Make sure you pull all the way up to the very front of the line both in the morning and in the afternoon.  We will have additional staff outside to make sure all students get into the building in the morning.
